MoonStore NYC operates moonstorenyc.com, an online shop based in New York City. Contact desk@moonstorenyc.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information we receive

When you place an order or contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number if supplied, billing and delivery details, order contents and correspondence. If you use an account, we keep the information needed to maintain it. If you submit artwork for a personalized order, we receive that artwork, its selected layout and your production instructions.

Our website and hosting services also process technical information such as IP address, browser information and request logs to operate the store, prevent abuse and investigate errors. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or unnecessary location metadata in uploaded artwork.

Product reviews

If you post a product review, the review and the name displayed with it are public. Your email address is not displayed with the review. Please avoid including private contact details in public reviews.

How we use information

We use this information to manage your cart, process and fulfill orders, provide customer support, handle returns, maintain records and protect the site against fraud or abuse. Artwork is used to prepare the personalization you request. Submitting artwork does not give us permission to use it in public advertising.

Cookies and local storage

WordPress and WooCommerce use cookies or similar storage for account sessions, cart contents, checkout and security. The design studio may use browser storage for your selections. You can manage cookies through your browser; blocking necessary cookies can prevent the cart or checkout from working.

Service providers and payments

Information needed to operate the store is processed by our website host and by service providers involved in order handling, delivery, communications and payment processing. When an online payment method is available and you select it, the payment provider processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive transaction information needed to manage the order. Do not send card numbers or security codes through email or the contact form.

We may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect legal rights, investigate fraud or resolve a dispute. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Retention and security

Order and support records are kept for fulfillment, returns, accounting, legal obligations and dispute resolution. Uploaded artwork and design records may remain associated with the order or studio record until removed. We do not promise automatic deletion after a fixed period. Access is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who need it, and we use reasonable measures to protect the information.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us. We may need to verify your identity. Some records must be retained for legal, tax, security or transaction purposes. We will handle requests according to the laws that apply to you.

Children and external websites

The store is intended for people able to make purchases themselves or with a parent or guardian. Do not submit a child’s personal details unless needed and authorized for an order. External websites linked from this store have their own privacy practices.
